We present organic yarrow essential oil for perfumery, obtained from the plant Achillea millefolium. In international usage, the product is known as White Yarrow organic essential oil for perfumery. The product has an entirely organic composition without preservatives or colourants. The composition includes only the plant's volatile compounds, as the organic cultivation method keeps the plantings away from synthetic detergents. The plantings occupy fields in Bulgaria, where the species of the Asteraceae family finds suitable conditions for development and accumulates its wealth of volatile substances in the above-ground part. The fields provide the stalk, that is, the above-ground part of the plant, which European phytotherapeutic practice recognises as the herbal raw material of this botanical species. The stalk transfers the pigments of the green above-ground mass to the oil, giving the liquid its characteristic shade. The liquid consistency remains fluid throughout the product's volume. Alongside this, the aroma reveals a sweet herbal heart surrounded by woody nuances and a light camphor touch. The camphor touch comes from camphor and borneol, which scientific descriptions include among the characteristic volatile ingredients in the above-ground part of this genus. The intensity of the olfactory character remains sharp and deep throughout the profile. The depth is preserved during steam distillation, which releases the volatile compounds in an unchanged form. Distillation also determines the purity of the scent, which is why the profile of yarrow oil remains close to the volatile contents of the living raw material. The colour of the liquid remains faint yellow with a transition towards yellow-green.

In addition to classic fragrance forms, the oil is also incorporated into fragrant waters, eaux de toilette and concentrated essences, as well as ingredients for harmonising complex bouquets. It is suitable for master perfumers and manufacturers who work with raw materials of natural origin and value a lasting aroma and a recognisable style in the finished product.
Storage
Store organic yarrow essential oil in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +5°C to +20°C to prevent oxidation and the loss of beneficial properties. After opening, limit the amount of air in the packaging and, as the contents decrease, transfer the remainder to a smaller, clean and dry bottle. Use only aluminium or glass bottles for perfumery products, preferably dark glass, which protect the essential oil for perfumery from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and moisture from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the aroma and quality of the product for a longer period.
